Magway has developed an autonomous, sustainable parcel delivery system using underground pipes. The challenge was to move the sophisticated algorithm to the lowest possible level. Using Beckhoff platform, the TwinCAT 3 target for Simulink®, Magway was able to implement its control algorithms directly on an industrialized platform. This resulted in comprehensive economic benefits: Fewer components, decentralization, higher system availability, and shorter development cycles.
