COP28 update
The conclusion of COP28 marked a significant step towards a global commitment to transition away from fossil fuels. While the agreement may have fallen short of a complete 'phase out' or 'phase down,' it represents the first time such a commitment has been made. Additionally, the agreement includes the establishment of a Loss and Damage fund to compensate poorer nations for the impacts of global warming.
Magway had a productive presence at COP28, being selected as one of only two companies to showcase a physical model on the main UK pavilion. The enthusiastic reception reflects the substantial impact our solution can have in 'hard-to-decarbonise' industries such as construction and mining. As we return from the event, we carry not only worn-out feet but also numerous follow-up opportunities that will contribute to an exciting and promising year ahead.
